Message for the acts of the few?

I pay my bills. I have insurance. If I chose to risk my life to not wear a seat belt, then it is my concern - not anyone elses.

Why is it any more stupid that driving a 400 hp car when you could drive a granny mobile that can not go fast enough to hurt you in a wreck???? Why??? Because THAT is a choice YOU chose to make. There is no difference. People only see the choice that are different than the ones they themselves make.

Maybe we should outlaw all cars that cost more than $10,000??? That would lower insurance rates would it not?

Drive around your town sometime and look at all the building insurance companys are in. You think they are not making money? You think they care if I drive a dangerous sports car? Nope. More money for them. I am 33 and have never had an accident in my life, they love me. They can rape me for the type of cars I like to drive and have little risk of ever having to pay out. They could buy me 2 cars for the amount of money I have given them.

Again, we can not punish the many for the acts of the few. You don't pay your insurance - get caught and lose your license forever. Make the punishment bad enough that it is not worth the risk. Why pay $100 a month insurance when you only get told to get insurance when you get pulled over.

That old "medical bills we have to pay" crap hold no water in my eyes. Change the system to make it right, don't change the system to make up for the wrong.
